If you’ve felt chased away from the pews, then please know that differing views are most welcome. The landscape of worship in America has been evolving since the 60s and continues at THIS MOMENT. With tremendous respect for the foundation that the Orthodox and Conservative Movements provide – it is my experience that Reform, Reconstructionist & Renewal offer meaningful, relevant and exciting perspectives, options and portals for the future of mainstream Jewry as we seek to embrace and understand our relationship with God, one another and the world.

Celebrate Passover in a progressive, non-theistic way. While our Seder has traditional elements such as the Seder Plate, candle-lighting, and Jewish music, it is progressive-themed and has meaningful readings, both about the holiday and topical events, lively discussion, and singing led by Cantorial Soloist and folk singer Andy Susman. The celebration reading/singing lasts approx. one hour, followed by feast. This year PJA has chosen a new venue. We can simply order from the menu when we arrive and pay separately, much less expensive than our prior plan. Please RSVP - Charles 305-606-2778

NOTE: While we do NOT keep kosher at our Seder, we request that you AVOID pork and shellfish for guests who respect that tradition.

FREE PARKING is curbside 2 blocks south of restaurant. Take S.E. 15th Ave. south from Las Olas, look for Brickell Drive. A few spaces are to the left on north side of Brickell, but most are to your right on Brickell going west, or about a block west on Tarpon Drive. You should find a free space, but if not, there are coin meters close to restaurant along S.E. 15th Ave. and elsewhere; $1.25/hr., take quarters, dimes, nickels. There is also a master meter/parking app lot on N.E. corner of Las Olas and 15th.

Please allow for rush hour travel time. Las Olas gets very congested.

Services led by Kol Ami Prayer Leader Ron Chazan & Guest Hazzan, Guitarist and Spiritual Leader Andrew David Susman with a mélange of melodies from across the spectrum of Judaism. In addition, there will be an engaging drash (interpretation) and lively discussion on the week’s Torah portion. If attending services is not ‘your thing’, I invite you to give it another look and discover what can work and resonate with you. If you’ve felt chased away from the pews, then please know that differing views are most welcome. The landscape of worship in America has been evolving since the 60s and continues at THIS MOMENT. While I have tremendous respect for the foundation that the Orthodox and Conservative Movements provide – it is my experience that Reform, Reconstructionist & Renewal offer meaningful, relevant and exciting perspectives, options and portals for the future of mainstream Jewry as we seek to embrace and understand our relationship with God and the world.

Services led by Andrew David Susman - Cantorial Prayer/Song Leader with a mélange of melodies from across the spectrum of Judaism. In addition, there will be an engaging drash (interpretation) and lively discussion on the week’s Torah portion provided by Amichai Heppner from TAO in Ft.Lauderdale as well as a member of the Simchat HaLev Havurah.

Celebrate Passover in a progressive, non-theistic way. While our Seder has traditional elements such as the Seder Plate, candle-lighting, and Jewish music, it is progressive-themed and has meaningful readings, both about the holiday and topical events, lively discussion, and singing led by professional folk singer Andy Susman. The celebration reading/singing lasts approx. one hour, followed by feast. This is a kibbutz-style Seder where everyone pitches in with a dish. When you RSVP, Charles and you can discuss what dish you have in mind as well as whether you can volunteer to assist with a simple task.

NOTE:
(1) While we do NOT keep kosher at our Seder, we request that you AVOID pork and shellfish for guests who like that tradition.
(2) You may heat up your dish in this venue's kitchen.

Contemporary music and Judaism offer plenty of opportunities to create spiritual connections. Andrew David Susman's two albums - THE Megiddo PROJECT - A Prayer Journey (2010) & THE Megiddo PROJECT - Generations (Spring 2015) use a contemporary lens to illuminate the ancient faith of Judaism, making you stop and go “Hmm?” Through a blend of icons, images, intentions and mysticism (a.k.a. Kabbalah) Andy weaves various threads of lyrics, liturgy, liner notes and music into an engaging, enchanting and relevant presentation of Judaism - ‘a spiritual awakening for our time!’

The Interfaith Worship Service is a non-dogmatic, open, affirming, inclusive, and diverse spiritual worship experience.
